About

Education

I received my BA in Economics and Accounting from Duke University. I returned to graduate school several years later and received my Masters and Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. I received extensive training in Community Mental Health and College Counseling where I helped individuals with anxiety, mood disorders, sexual trauma, family of origin trauma and grief.

In 2005 I received my Certification as a Health and Wellness Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

Experience

I have more than 20 years of experience as a psychologist helping clients with anxiety, depression, grief/loss and relationship conflicts. I have worked with adolescents, college students, adults and couples who are struggling with life's challenges or feeling stuck.  Using my certification as a Health/Wellness Coach, I offer a holistic perspective to help you understand how nutrition and stress management shapes your emotional and cognitive struggles.

I have worked for many years with college and graduate students in creative fields.
